wtb 68-72 conv frame
#3
I have some very nice hardtop frames and 2 sets of the box sections that I cut from wrecked vert frames that can be welded in to make a vert frame. I may also know of one locally, but I am not sure if it is for sale.

There is nothing wrong with welding in the box sections. A couple tips: be sure they are overlapping the same on both sides, and that the tranny crossmember bolts up and is centered side-to-side. It is a good bit of work, but what else could you be doing with your time anyway? lol

There are a few on Craigslist.
For what they go for if the 500 dollar frame in Florida is still for sale and decent it would be worth going to fetch.
