looking for window regulator - My window is not going up entirely. The last gear on the regulator wheel has ground off and preventing a full close of the window

Yes! You will need a regulator for a power window.

A check of the Olds parts book , and GM Parts wiki reveals that the Chevelle sport coupe and convertible used the same part number door window regulator.
That part number is 9721898. I would think that Pontiac Tempest (GTO) and Buick Skylark would be the same too. But I cannot confirm that.
