Wanted: 68 Olds 442 Hood Latch Pin

Judging by the amount of threads that have this title a company could probably make a lot of money by producing these haha. During my restoration I have apparently misplaced mine. Anyone have one they are willing to part with?

If you need the hood latch assembly (I can't tell from your title because I don't know what a hood latch pin is) you have to specify if you have the paddle or pull type. There are two types in 68 and your core support is specific to only one of them

If you're looking for the male piece that attaches to the hood that is the same for both styles

I apologize, I didn't realize there were multiple types. Attached are pictures of my core support and hood latch assembly. I believe I need just the latch pin and nut. Also, is there supposed to be a striker plate for the hanger wire looking hood spring? Its murdered my new paintjob already :/

There is not a striker plate for the hood pre-load spring. The dang thing just rides on the paint.
