Glasstek Hood Safety Latch

I'm hoping that some advice will come my way. I have a 1972 cutlass 442 convertible with an aftermarket OAI fiberglass hood. I realized that the only thing keeping this hood in place is the hood pins. I called glasstek and was told there are no accommodations for a safety latch.

I had seen one older posts that mentions a custom type of latch. Is there any suggestions as to what latch I should purchase or any additional pictures or advice? I suddenly have a paranoia that this hood is going to open as I'm driving down the highway.

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Since nobody else gave any suggestions heres how i did mine. I cut the latch section out of a metal hood, put it over the same area on the fiberglass hood to mark out what needed to be cut out, cut out the nessesary areas, than i used professional panel adhesive and a few rivets to keep it in place until that dried. Its solid as a rock. I just use the main latch and ghe pins but you could also use the safety latch if you wanted. Hope this helps. Brandon
