I'm changing this one. I need the vacuum valve that fits on the A/C cowling under the hood. it has a single nipple on it and actuates something inside the blower cowling in association with the A/C. (It is NOT the vacuum tank.)

I think you will find that the vacuum actuator actually has 2 hoses that hooks to it. I know that Ames Pontiac restoration parts sells these new. The little nipple seems to get broken off on them a lot and you may find that the hose has been pulled back up under the dash.

 

Can you get a picture of the part you're talking about? That will help with our confusion.
