Twilight Sentinel Dash Sticker/ Dash parts
In search of a dashboard with Twilight sentinel sticker for 76 olds 98. Doing a twilight sentinel retrofit and just need the decal/sticker for completion. Willing to buy whole dash part to get the sticker. Thank you! Located in Louisville KY

There's a local yard (local being 35 miles away) that has a lot of older GM cars, I won't be going out there for another couple of weeks, but I'll look for you. I'm assuming the dashes for the 88's 98's and Toros are pretty much the same from '71 to '76, correct?

What I really need is a car with twilight sentinel/sentinal from the 70s. I have purchased a NOS kit with everything (sensor, wiring harness, amplifier, pot and ***** etc) what i need is the decal/sticker that goes on the dash behind the *****.

I guess I didn't explain my intentions clearly, sorry. It's likely the yard will have several 70's Olds big cars & Toros so all I would look for is the LH dash piece. They will probably be in poor shape but if one has the TW Sentinel applique, I'll pull the dash piece.

Sticker should have come with the kit.
Your interchange is 74-76 Delta 88/Ninety Eight. Toronado uses the exact same backing plate but with a different woodgrain pattern, don't ask me why.
Depending on how your car is equipped Cruise Control and HVAC also come into play. A Tempmatic car uses an overlay decal on the HVAC control.

I do have cruise and tempermatic climate control. Is it possible to remove just the applique and move it to the dash?
Here is a picture of my dash just for reference. I am not an expert!

You can try, but that's a flimsy piece of foil and may not survive it. A heat gun and a plastic scraper MIGHT do it but I wouldn't bet the rent check on it.
Your car's one of the few Tempmatics of that vintage I've seen that doesn't have the overlay decal. Almost all 74 and 75's had it. Guess it was a stopgap measure till they could get faceplates made. 74 was the year Olds changed from troublesome Comfortron to less troublesome Tempmatic. Notice I didn't say "trouble free"!🤪

Any printing shop worth their salt should be able to scan that thing and make a label.

Can someone take a good picture of the applique in their car with the **** removed?
I might be able to take that picture to a printer friend and have them recreate it for me. If it turns out decent, Ill get a dozen made up so we will have them for the future.
