turn signal/cruise control lever

I'm looking for a turn signal lever with the cruise control switch for a 1981 Olds 98. It has from left to right on the lever "set" "on" "off" "resume". It has NO wiper controls.

Here's a photo of the cruise control lever that I'm looking for.

Steven, Thanks for the advice, but I've spent hours looking though their listings already. Seems like everything there, except for what I need.

Try CTC Autoranch in Sanger Texas, they have thousands of older cars

GM used the same cruise stalk for many years and it didn't look like that one. I don't think the one you have in your car is original - probably aftermarket.

Not the style used from 1971-1980 & not the newer CC/wiper combo lever.

This was pretty much a 1981 only deal.

Think of it as a "transition" piece so to speak in regards to the CC "resume" feature being on the lever.

Apparently someone felt one extra year of waiting for a resume function to be on the lever was going to bring the world to an end.

They knew most GM stuff would be going with the new wiper/combo type lever a year later (1982) ... so why they decided to create a one year only part for most cars is beyond me.

The Toronado actually got the newer combo style lever for 1981.

The Cutlass-88-98 & CC I believe all got this 1981 only type lever.
(Omega I couldn't tell you - never had an interest in them to pay much attention)

Oldsmobile wasn't the only GM division to to do this ..... you'll find similar levers on other 1981 GM cars.

Caddy I believe is the exception ... as they had their on style of lever which I believe was slightly different, as well as color coordinated to the steering column.

Long story short .....

Being this is a one year only deal ... this makes your hunt for one of these a bit tougher, unlike the newer combo style levers that are pretty easy to find new.

Cool to see your car has Twilight Sentinel.

I had a 1981 Omega Brougham fresh from the factory. It had the newer combined cruise/wiper option on the stalk, and was black/chrome like the other newer ones.

I'm going to guess that this 98 is a Regency Brougham. I believe those got the Twilight Sentinel as an automatic part of the upgrade.

Wow!! Lot's of information, although not exactly what I wanted to hear. Mine is stuck in the "On" position, and I prefer to have a second option to turn it off other than the brake. I guess this is going to turn out to be a more difficult search than I intended. At least I can now narrow it down when I'm browsing through wrecking yards. Thanks guys for the advice. Will keep on looking

Allan R, mine is a straight Regency, although it is loaded to the hilt.

I found a new one in TX and it is on order. It's listed for a 81-82 Chev, but the photo appears identical to mine, as well as the same colour coded wiring. Thanks for all of your suggestions. It sure narrowed down my search.
