Hey guys, time to dig through your pile of tranny parts! If anyone has a 45 tooth speedo driven gear (light blue) and the housing that goes with it, I am looking for one. I changed from 2.73 to 3.42 gears and need to get the speedo right.

I have these.

One has 43T one it and the other says 42T. I'm guessing it's the teeth count. The one without the box was in the Housing. No light blue, though.

 

Thanks man, but with the gears and tire I am going with, I need the 45 tooth gear. Also, if I am not mistaken, the other gear is a 39 tooth and the housing I need fits the 40-45 tooth gear.

 

You might have to change the drive gear also to get the right combo. Have to drop the driveshaft to remove tail housing for that. This site has everything you need and a calculator to help figure it out. Costs more and delivery was a little slow, but I bought their -26.7% ratio adapter and was done in 15 minutes. Now within a couple of mph per GPS.

I used the original shop manual for my car to find the tooth number for the 18 tooth drive gear that came originally in the trans. Higher cost and slow delivery doesn't exactly make me want to go running to that place...

 

I should have the 45T gear.

Was told the 700R4 uses the same housing as the TH350....I have that housing...email me direct please
