Shifter ball - 69 H/O dual gate

I was wondering if anyone has one of these. There is a non-original Hurst handle on there now and I wanted to take it off the car and give it to my wife. It was something her dad touched every time he drove the car and I just think she should have it.

Doesn't have to be NOS, but does have to thread properly and be in good condition. Thanks.

Is it the same wood-grained shifter ball that's on a 400THM for '69 without the dual gate?

83 Hurst, yes I knew that but I prefer an original. Nothing on this whole trans or shifter is unoriginal from what I know and that would bug me a little. Although if it comes down to it and the car is leaving I'd do it. Just not my first preference.

I believe it is just black. I'd have to go back through many threads to find out for sure, but I believe someone commented about it when I first got the car...(and I don't necessarily trust the repro suppliers to validate even a shifter ball...haha!!!) Maybe Joe P, Tim, or one of the other 69 H/O guys can comment.

Thanks. I know rcktdoc had one NOS and I think he wanted $100 for it at nationals. I'd be willing to pay up to $40 shipped for a nice used one.

Still looking. Come on guys this is for a good cause. Plus, you'll have one of your parts on this that will (probably) end up on a real H/O someday. (That's assuming the new owner is going back to the 4 speed.) There are plenty of H/O owners that don't have their original trans. and to make this whole setup complete with original parts would be a very good thing.

$50 shipped???

Is it the same as 70-72 *****. This is what the one on my 70 looks like with the line around it.

I was thinking I could send you this T handle you give me but when I pulled it out of the package it was a used one. The threads on the bottom are stripped out.

I don't want to answer this because I'm not the expert on these. Maybe someone else can let us know.

That's strange. I wouldn't have ever thought that.

I wonder if this one was on the car and stripped out and the new one from this is on the shifter now. He could have put the old one in this Hurst ziploc bag

I forget, what are the threads like on those? I had the current one off before, but I can't remember.

Eric, if you want to go ahead and send that one to me, I'd take it. I also need a hood bulb and trunk bulb and the driver's side rubber circle shaped bumper where the hood rests is cracked through the one side. Center and pass were fine. If you have any of that, let me know and I can just send you some cash.
