looking for adjustable roller rocket kit for my w31 that doesn't require machining looking at Harland sharp kit but 605 is pretty pricey.

I like to point out on occasion that the comp kit is not a true roller rocker. They are a simple roller tipped rocker in a convenient kit. Often the push rod is not the correct length depending on the machine work already done to a given cylinder head.

The Harland Sharp and others when compared correctly are true roller rockers with needle bearing fulcrums. That is a major difference.

If your expectations are in line with this explanation, you'll be fine. Just know what your getting.

I’ve never used the Harland rockers. Do they require machine work to install? I’ve always thought that if you wanted a true rolling valve train in an Olds V8, it would require some machine work and close to (maybe more than) $1K.

Some do, some don't. Shop carefully.

ive got a set of adjustable pushrods in it currently but the cam is just over .500 lift therefore requiring adjustable rockers. i saw it comes with pushrods and was concerned about the length but figure if needed i can put my adjustables back in as the heads have been milled

The Comp version is an adjustable rocker, you shouldn’t need adjustable push rods with the kit. It is an only roller tip kit though (not full roller). Based on your needs and budget, I figured that it might work for you. Building a high revving performance Olds engine is generally not for folks with a budget in mind. (This is me too)🙄 Perhaps this is why LS swaps are so popular. The advantages to the less expensive Comp kit is basically a roller tip, guide plates and adjustability.

Still looking? I've got a set of new ones I picked up a few years ago and never used, orange in color, $300 plus shipping. If interested I'll get photos.

roller rockers

I've been packing up my inventory at my warehouse to re-locate to our new home/shop. I have a few different sets of TRUE roller rockers for Oldsmobile. I also have new guide plates and studs. If interested, please email me for pics, etc.: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.
