Smile Red line tires

Looking for a set of 4 ... 225 x 70 x 14 Red line tires. Maybe someone has good set that they change out for some thing else or not going to use them. I do know they sell them new, But was just checking for good used ones first. Havn't been able to come to grip with 210.00 per tire yet !! LOL Thanks

Good luck; you could try Ebay perhaps. I have on occasion seen used sets there. I put a set of the BFGoodrich Silvertown Redline Radials (bought at Carlisle last year, saved shipping at least) on my '67, and they are awesome. There are "lesser" redline radials out there that look horrible, have "mold marks" radiating out from the centers to the edge, etc.

But you don't want to buy tires that are too old, either. Penny wise, and pound foolish. And do keep in mind that even new bias ply tires will not hold a candle to radials for handling.

Thanks guys for replies and you are both right. I was just tying to get lucky I guess!! On the gto form that I'm on, there was a guy selling a like new set that came on a car he bought but he didn't like the red line look. So he was selling them... and of course they where the wrong size!! LOL I Kinda Know I'll have to buy Goodyear, But need to decide red lines or white letters and 400.00 difference in price...!??
