Hello all, I am looking for a part for my Vista cruiser wagon. It's the horizontal window support bar that goes from the C pillar to the D pillar on the driver's side. I have attached pics of it. I haven't found anyone that can reproduce this part since it's very detailed and curved in two different ways. I am glad that I only need one due to the passenger side is mint.
Rob, There's a yard about 45 minutes from me that has a few gen 2 (I'm assuming your's is a gen 2) VCs. I could go out and check, (not today its a balmy +5 degrees). I know they are definately rusty, but probably not rotted out. PM me if you're interested. Karl
Yes, my Vista is a 71 model year. Doh for not adding that info. If you could check that would be great. No real big rush, since the car is in about a thousand pieces and I have a bunch of other work to be done on it. I stopped for a while with it due to adding a 600+ sq ft addition on my house and resheathing and siding and all new windows. I'm about done now so I can start the bodywork and assembly in the spring.
