olds hub cap key socket

I am still looking for the hub cap key socket for my 1984 olds custom cruiser. It has the letter a stamped on the end of it. I have the original but would like a spare. Thanks.

You might get one at the dealer, but you would be more successful going to the auto mall (wreckers)...

84 olds custom cruiser wagon

I am looking for the hub cap key socket with the letter a on the end of it and also does anyone have the center pieces that snap into the hub cap to cover the bolt hole? I could use two of those also. Thanks. Phil scott

Without seeing a pic, hard to say definitively, but I do not think the hub cap key socket is unique to Olds. I say this as the description sure sounds like a similar device I had on my 1984 Buick Riviera to remove the wire wheel hub caps?

Yes, this is what he seeks. I am sure there were a set number of different 'codes' made and used amongst a variety of GM cars.

For an '84, you want a centre piece with a silver background and red rocket.

Tim, mine also have the red background. How much do you want for them and the wrench shipped? I have all the original ones but would like to have some spares just in case. Thanks. Phil scott

Tim you just give him your paypal email name and he will log onto paypal and send a payment directly to your account and if he declares it as gift money instead of service there is no paypal fee....you can do that with someone trustworthy

Hubcap centers and locking key 84 olds custom cruiser

I am still trying to find the hub cap center emblems and the locking socket for same for a 1984 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon. The emblems on the back side have a dome in the center with a grove around it for the locking springs and at the bottom of one end a pin that centers them in the cap. The socket key MUST HAVE THE LETTER A STAMPED on the end of it. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. Phil Scott -

Yes, I will take pics of them today and send to your e mail address. The socket tgool of course I won;t be able to send a pic of the interior splines but I can count them and like i said, GM used letters on the ends of the tools for different cars and mine has a large capital A on the end of it. 84 olds hubcap socket lock tool #A

I found the hub cap emblems I needed from another member here but am still trying to find that socket locking tool. It must have the letter A stamped on the end of it I am told by other guys here to fit this particular hubcap.I realize that it is going to be almost impossible to find due to it's size and the age of the car, most of them having been scrapped by now. I am surprised mine survived. Well I can hope I guess. Thanks for all the responses I have had here.

Go to ebay and type in: Red A Key lock Wrench Oldsmobile. See if that is the tool your looking for.

Another thing you could try is to get a complete set of bolts with matching tool with a different letter.
