delta 88 80-84 hub cap key

I posted in classifieds also, but thought this might real more delta 88 owners. Does anyone have a key to fit locking hub caps from the above years, that they would want to salw. I found a nice set today at junk yard, but couldn't find the key. Thanks

key

the bolt the key fits on should have a letter stamped on it,there are a few different ones.i have some keys,let me know the code,jim

I looked at each one, and could not find any labeling. It just had splines all around the outer diameter

there were different types,is it a bolt or a nut? I may have a set with keys but I still think there should be a code somewhere,do you have te parts that go on the wheel under the lug nuts?

i tried to insert a picture i took today. I hoped it worked. I assume all the hardware was there as they were mounted on the vehicle at the yard and would not come off. thanks

I can't identitfy that part in the picture,you might try a left handed drill bit to extract them and then replace them with other bolts.

you can imagine that even tho that looks like the right style key it may not work on the locks that are on the car,i've seen junkyards that had a tool kit that could take any of those off .if I might have some that style and if I can find them I will pm you,jim

did you check in the car ? alot of times I find the stuff like that in the ashtray, glovebox, trunk, console, over the visor, on the floor you get the idea !!!

I searched pretty good. I didn't check ash tray or above sun visors. Im gonna go back soon for a few things I couldn't get today. I'll check those spots then

after looking at your pic with a magnifying glass I realized the type of key you saw on ebay isn't the right style.i believe I can see a letter on the end of the lock,maybe you could steel wool or sand it to reveal the letter.i have 3 or 4 keys of the style I believe you need.i have also removed that style with a screw driver if they aren't on too tight.

3 of the 4 have been removed with help from forum member. I will get the other one if its still there. Rest of the real world taking priority over piddling with the old car
