NOS or super clean 403703 Auto Trans Cover (Plastic Inspection Cover on bellhousing)

I may be looking for a NOS or super nice original transmission inspection cover like the one in the pics below. I believe this is the trans/torque convertor inspection cover that replaced the metal version used up into the 1970 model year.

>The PN on this black plastic cover is 403703

>In one pic there are two large circular tabs on the front of the cover up near the rear oil pan seal area....one tab is missing/broken on the cover in the pic

>Don't want a cover that needs cleaning, painting or other work....if you have one be able to send close up/detailed pics as I request them and also be available via phone to discuss it if need be

Thanks

I did not know these were hard to find in nice condition till about a year ago. I have the newer style that is very close to the same but the hole on the bottom is made a little differant than the correct one.

Patton, these are pics of one that I recently shipped to another member. Would another one in this condition fit your needs? Thanks, Bob.

Bob - Most likely, yes. The one I have is real dull looking and the surface has a fine/rough finish to it (suede-like). It's not dried out or chalky.

Yours appears to be a smoother surface which gives it more sheen/gloss to the plastic.

I'll PM you.

Thanks very much

Luis, 403703 is for a 70 442. At least that is the one I brought home from Austin.
And of course it has a nice chunk out of it. No idea on the 22512448.

Mr. Google says that part# fits a later model Buick, which also has the starter on the opposite side.

Patton and I tentatively have a deal on the one that he is looking for; however, I have more.
