Just curious, but is this for a numbers matching application?

If not, almost any old Qjet can be built to 70's 350 specs. Just a matter of using the correct rods, springs, and jets.

I prefer those particular cores - 7040250 - 7044250. Thanks...

rolando, keep an eye on ebay, ill keep en eye out as well.

these are not hard to find, they came on all 350's in 1970,unless it was a 2 barrel or a 31.

figure around $50-$75 for a builder core.

Carb

Here's one on a 1974 350, number 7043250 I'll try to pull it from the engine tomorrow and photograph the underside. I would take $35 plus shipping from Medford Oregon. The tags on the car expired in 1998 but the air cleaner has been kept on it, I just removed it for pictures. John

rolo,$35 is a good price for a builder.

no difference in carbs between 73 and 70,so it would work,if youre not **** about numbers.

if you want a 0250,just wait, they pop up now and then.

agtw31,
Yes, you're absolutelty right! I'm in the process of buying 2blu442's '73 Q-jet. I'll keep my eye out for a back-up core to stash away. Thanks for your help. Stay in touch.
