looking for a water pump: OEM GM # 382188 W/AIR

Hello all,

I am looking for the following part. Please let me know if you have one or can refer me to a place that might have it. RockAuto does not have the part. Thank you in advance. Picture of pump attached.

1964 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS DELTA 330 C.I. WATER PUMP OEM GM # 381288 W/AIR

Welcome to the world of one-year-only parts.

Fusick says that they have rebuilt ones in stock, but they aren't cheap and there's a $100 core charge on top of that. The 64 pumps sometimes show up on ebay, but it's infrequent. Kanter is another potential source they claim to be able to supply rebuilt units with a $34 core charge. Good luck.

I would bet Fusick sends the pump to a third party for rebuild. I used these guys for the rebuild of my W-30 pump. It was a few years ago, so far no issues with the pump. I don't recall the price but I remember thinking it was reasonable. http://www.waterpumpman.com/index.html
