Arrow Help and Advice: Water Pump Replacement!

Hi guys!

Need to replace my water pump!
Found different models that go for $30 to $170...

What do you think about all the AIRTEX, CARDONE... water pump you can find on eBay... ($40-$60)?
Or the OPGI one ($160)(never been dissapointed with OPGI parts)

With which one would you go? Or do you have advices with brands, models...

OPGI Water Pump:

CARDONE remanufactured on eBay

Thanks a lot!!!

I prefer original OEM. The Cardone looks like you will get an original rebuilt. It appears to be a 400269 casting number which is applicable for AC cars, so if your car does not have AC you will need a "KM" water pump pulley to make the belts line up.

I can't see any justification for a $160 "regular" water pump.

You should also check out RockAuto - they tend to have a good variety of parts, and they ship internationally.

Buy the original rebuilt pump I have on e-Bay.

The original GM closed impeller design is superior to the aftermarket pumps.
