Junk BB Head

As the topic states, I am looking for a junk big block head. It can be cracked, rusted, bad seats or guides, warped- it really doesn't matter. I'm going to cross section it for porting research purposes. I have access to a horizontal band saw that will work nicely for this. Ideally I'd like to have a big valve "C" head to chop up. I really don't want to ruin a good head. It would be great to find one between Chicago and Milwaukee so I could pick it up and save on shipping. Obviously I don't want to pay a lot. Beggars can't be too choosey. If anyone wants a section, let me know. Thanks for your help in advance- Dave

If nothing else pans out I have 2 candidates- an E ground into an F and well weathered, and a really beat up C casting. Hate to throw out a C head, ya know. Central MI, I do get thru the Chicago area on occasion for work but generally not stopping with the boss in the truck.

BB Head

Jeromy, that sounds great. We gotta get together soon. I'm not in a big hurry. What looks wierd about the "D" head? Is it junk? I thought they were supposed to be rare. Octania thanks for your offer, it sound like the J man's got me covered.
