ISO Kick Panel Clip for 1968 Cutlass
#5
I'll check at a place this week....they have a couple '68's. Seems like they should have the clips BUT....do you know if AC-equipped '68 Cutlass's used the same clips on the kickpanels?? (Probably no non-ac cars down here).
As far as the screws - those can be a real PITA to pull. The factory really ran them in tight into the plastic panel behind the vent louvers. I've removed them before but they put them in so tight it's sometimes almost impossible to get a socket onto the screw head. Again, probably no non-ac cars at the place here but let me know on the clips.....check your Assembly Manual and see if the clips were used on the AC kickpanels as well.
The screw will be a #8 thread size - sheet metal threads. You can source locally if you can figure out, generally what length they need to be. I believe they are "hex flange" heads on those screws.
