That little rocket just pops off and then what you need is a tubular key with the correct CODE letter...stamped on the end of the lock bolt is a letter A, B, C, etc. and then when you have the letter off the bolt go to the wreckers and see if they have yours in stock...they usually do not throw those things away... the dealer price might be a little high

It might be a little high if you are Bill Gates or Warren Buffet. If you are a normal guy then you probably can't afford the dealer price.

Post the letter here when you get it.

My mom stupidly got rid of her 86 Olds after failing emissions and it had a MINT set of these hub caps. It went to the boneyard somewhere but she kept the hub cap key. I will try to remember to ask her if she still has it and find out the letter.

Usually a good tire shop will have tools to get them off as well. They will be universal and might mar the bolt up...but they will be off.

It has half moons that catch the half moons on the bolt to turn it, like a normal socket would on a normal bolt.
Yes, you can use needle nose pliers, that is what I did. Then I just used a normal bolt (1/4-20 I think) with a washer under the head so now I can remove them with a socket and a ratchet.
