does anyone have the tool to help me unlock these hubcap off my 83?
if you have a pic of it i can wait and get it fron good ole gm tia !

That little rocket just pops off and then what you need is a tubular key with the correct CODE letter...stamped on the end of the lock bolt is a letter A, B, C, etc. and then when you have the letter off the bolt go to the wreckers and see if they have yours in stock...they usually do not throw those things away... the dealer price might be a little high

Post the letter here when you get it.
My mom stupidly got rid of her 86 Olds after failing emissions and it had a MINT set of these hub caps. It went to the boneyard somewhere but she kept the hub cap key. I will try to remember to ask her if she still has it and find out the letter.

hey there fellas if i can find the tool is there another way to get the lock off on another olds board i was told i can get them off with needle nose pliers iam plan on keepin the hubcaps if i plan on selling the car ! thanks in advance !

It has half moons that catch the half moons on the bolt to turn it, like a normal socket would on a normal bolt.
Yes, you can use needle nose pliers, that is what I did. Then I just used a normal bolt (1/4-20 I think) with a washer under the head so now I can remove them with a socket and a ratchet.
