Hei distributor
yah, any of the Olds V8's...
It is presumed you want the pre-computerized version which has vacuum advance, but maybe you should clarify.
'ere's one dirt cheap

I have the reamer and tools to install bushings if you get one and find it's sloppy.
Killer deal on a $0.50 O-Ring too:

good grief- $20? At least they cover the "shipping" aka "postage."
Here's an optimistically priced [$1300 core] for a UHV distributor, which is NOT a 442 number despite the ad text...

Since that's where the average eBay unit probably came from, you can save by cutting out the middleman.

Eric the pro comp units on ebay are all new for 50 bucks i bought one and it's been in my pop's car for 2 years now no issues all i did was change the weights and springs to fine tune the timing. It could have been left alone but i guess i was being a perfectionist lol.
Oh yeah, right. That's been mentioned here before.
I missed the word "new" in his post.
Still, you can get one that is just as usable (and was Made in USA) for a lot less, AND the matching clearanced air cleaner as well

Me too !!! didn't think 50 was bad for a new unit with cap rotor and coil. It was just plug and play and I didn't even have to leave my house to get it. Yes I could of went and grabbed a used one in hopes that the module and coil were good but I would of had to change the cap and rotor witch is around 20 bucks on top of the 30 to 40 a used one would of cost I think I landed ahead. And to be honest after I bought it thought I should have saved and bought a better brand/ high performance so it sat for a few months and a friend said just put it in I was sure that I was going to have to put a module in it over the summer but it is still in the glove box in a box
