Front piece above bumper

Please see this picture. I am looking for a place to get a front end piece. I hit a deer last night. Notmuch damage to the car, just glad i was in this car and not my sedan....would have been a much worse outcome.

Yea, I wanted the deer but it was too torn up...liek it on the grill myself. I am just thankful that the damage is minor and no one got hurt (cept the deer) and that they made these cars the way they did... oh well!

I have the panel that you need, but mine is damaged as well. It's in better shape than yours, but still bent. You're welcome to it.

ALSO....How did your front rocket emblem get inverted?!

Those header panels are metal (unlike later years when they were fibreglass) and can be worked back into shape by a good bodyman. However, good luck with the search. Looks like you'll also need a front grill and trim piece.

Joe, I smiled when I saw that hood rocket on upside down to. Not the first one I've seen like that....

J-Chicago: I will keep you in mind, going to try and find the piece. I don't know how (or didn't even notice till now) that the emblem is upside down. My grandparents are on their way out to Phoenix for the winter so my grandfather is going to look around, he goes to a lot of different car related events out there.

Allan R: that would be the ideal thing is to work it into shape but one area looks too creased, my grandfather has done body work all his life so he said he could try but with a crease it doesn't always look right. Plus when I go to Ohio next summer we are talking about repainting the entire car so we don't want to spend a lot of time to fix this, specially since we have to fix the dent I put in the side of it years ago.

Been there: e-mail to be sent soon.
