Unknown wires above transmission

Got the Cutlass home and am going over it. While under the car I discovered a couple of wires that come together at a rubber boot. I can't tell where they originate. And they were not hooked up.

Can anyone shed some light on what this is?

Those are the kickdown and TCS wires for the TH400 option. I assume your car has TH350? The harness had the TH400 wires in it anyway. They were just taped out of the way if the car came with a TH350.

Thank you sir for the response. Same info confirmed after I posted the thread in the electrical forum.

Thanks again

Make sure they don't rub on anything as the green wire (TCS) is live hot.
