96 Bravada Radio

I'm looking for an AM/FM/CD radio for one of my Bravadas. It does not have to be show quality. I believe the same radio may fit Blazers and Jimmys too. OE # is 16220765.

Here's a good search engine to use.

I just scrapped my 96 Oldsmobile 98 last weekend that had a CD/cassette player in it. Sorry you missed out.

That was a good looking 98. Those were great cars, I had 3 98s over the years. Even one touring sedan.

Would you be interested in one from a Pontiac same vintage, with a 5- band eq and red readout?

If there's salvage yards where you live, you might get lucky and find the cassette/CD combo like I had in my '02 Sonoma. Might have to program it to your Bravada though.

I appreciate the comments. Trying to keep everything original. Most older vehicles get crushed around here. I have found a couple on Ebay, but they are refurbished and don't last long. The hunt will continue on rural roads and back yards.

If you could find one non-refurbished you might be able to get it rebuilt with a warranty.

Thanks a million for all of the comments. I have found a local Delco radio repair facility. Being the problem is minor, they believe that it can be repaired.

So its the power to my Retro Radio AM transmittor. Will try a capacitor inline with the power to it next. It got better when I moved the terminal.
