Any chance anyone has one of these in very good or NOS condition? Mine looks good but has cable issues. A replacement would need to be nice enough to invest in painting it the right color.

You mentioned painting, so this is the sport mirror, correct? Since you have one with a bad cable can you post pictures and/or any of the numbers on it? I've got a box full of 1970's-80's vintage sport mirrors that I've picked up along the way but don't know the application of. John

 

just change the mirror and cable from another, no paint needed

 

I believe you need to disassemble the cable mechanism to achieve this and I have not had good luck doing that.

 

Yes sport mirror. Its on the car currently and I don't believe #'s are visible. I'll take a look and see if there's an easy way to access.

 

I have dozens of 73-77 sport mirrors, might even have the color you need. If you still need please let me know, be happy to provide pics
