68 69 Olds 400 pistons .040 wanted

looking for a set of 400 pistons and rings .040 over . Please let me know if you have some. thanks Steve

I say this being 14 months into this headache, but I ended up going with SBM forged pistons and 425 (7") rods.

thanks for info yes this is definitely a pain with no availability. Andy Miller supercars says he has a set that will work 3.975 pistons with rings for 850.00 Ill probably
go that way. cheers Steve

3.975 pistons, as in like .100" over?

At .040" over I was looking at 3.910 slugs.

Yes. You know what? I screwed up. I was thinking 3.975 was the original bore size for an E-block 400 but of course it was 4.00. Disregard.
