67 Cutlass high fan resistor

Can't find the correct resistor to operate the high a/c fan. First photo is the one I need, second is the only one I can find and it does not work even if you redo the wires to fit. Any ideas?

i was under the impression the high speed doesn't go through the resistor, that it is a separate wire.

I'm not sure. But I'd like to know.

i'm pretty sure high speed is not resisted,it is full voltage, separate circuit

Found an online diagram, seems high fan goes to a blower relay.

I know on my 69 442, the high speed runs through an under hood fuse holder built into the wiring. If that fuse blows...no high speed, but the other 3 speeds will work.

The relay is new, but I will check the connections and look for that fuse. Thanks

On my car, it's a black wire with an orange stripe. I think it does go to the relay. It's in the wiring on the driver inner fender. The fuse is small, like 1/2" long.

Glad to help! Thanks for letting me know it's fixed, it's always good to get a reply. For my own info...it was that little guy fuse in the wiring like my car? I really don't know 67's too well.
