Just in case you get p*ssed off: Wishing you well from CA. Don’t feel bad about the challenges.
Most of us keeping these cars worry about warping rare heads or destroying original blocks, so we care a lot about cooling. Just look at the regular recurrence of overheating car threads which begin each year as the heat rises.
It feels great going down the road confident that, if you hit traffic you can’t control on a hot day, the car won’t overheat.
Took me years of experiments to be confident. Work the problem and you’ll get there.
