Eric, what you're going to run into here is that 4GC had an aluminum ID tag attached under one of the airhorn screws. After 50 years and untelling how many rebuilds, the ID tag is all but guaranteed to be gone. So there may be no way to positively ID a 4GC as a 1964 carb much less Starfire application, unless someone has one with tag intact.

Eric, is that for a non A/C car or air car, carbs are different.

In the 1972 Olds chassis parts catalog the same 4 barrel carb is listed for 1959 thru 64 except F-85 #7016332

I do not know if it is an A/C car yet. We would be willing to take any that are the correct type. I had one for a 62 since 2002 and just sold it a week before I found out my buddy needed one, lol. We can not find a float of it anyplace. Do you know where to find one?

All 58 thru 65 Olds 4 barrel carbs use the same floats . According to the parts book . #7011945 for primary side and #7012148 for secondary.
62 thru 65 Chevy 409's with single 4 bbl also use the same floats .
Hope this helps you in your search.

If you happen to know the tag number, I have quite a few 394 carbs of that range with the aluminum tags still present and will look at them if its that specific an application. Pat

If it is a good core he will likely be interested. What would you want for one?

Typically a core runs $50. If a very specific numbered carb is wanted and I don't have a back up, usually $100. I have mostly big car stuff both nos and very nice used from 62 to 68.
