I have a original 4 jet carb that came of a 1965 starfire.
It worked fine until i took the fuel inlet filter out and when i screwed it back in i stripped it. They said to fix it you would have to machine it back.
I have no clue what its worth so make me a offer

 

You might try to find one of the oversize fittings that were made to cut their own threads. Dealers had 'em back in the day. I have one but need to hold onto it in case I find myself in your spot one day.
