64 Olds Jetstar turnsignal switch parts

Hello

Last week my turnsignal lever broke loose in my steering column.
And my right arm is to short to stick in out the right window to give direction.
So i have to fix it ,i'm waiting for a steering wheel puller i ordered at the moment.
Does somebody know what part is broken, so i can all ready search for a replacement part.

Oldsmobile jetstar 1964.

Thanks from Holland,

We don't have any Olds dealers here in the states either. I moved your post to the parts wanted section. Hopefully someone will chime in.

GM stopped manufacturing Oldsmobile cars in 2004. No need for dealerships with no cars to sell.

There are no Olds dealers anywhere on the planet... the brand is out of business.

I probably have the part you need, in a '64 J88, it will take a long time just to check see so please continue to pursue other avenues, such as RockAuto.com

Yeah, and the dealerships that did exist prior to that stopped carrying parts for 1964 model year cars a few decades before 2004...

Shoot me an email so I remember to look for it this weekend if its not too cold out. dead@mchsi.com. Do you have tilt or cornering lights? I think that may make a difference.

The 1972 Oldsmobile parts book lists this part as a Yoke, lever pivot, in group 2.910.
It carries part number 1960989.
It says it fits 1963 & 1964 all models except F-85 and tilt wheel.

Try a google search for NOS item
Try RockAuto.com or your favorite normal parts store for a new one

if all else fails deaddds may have one or the one I have might not be broken.

Changing columns would be a huge task in comparison.

Can it be welded or glued back to service?

I assume you have a non tilt wheel as I have what you need as an exact match to your photo. Excellent used, no cracks. How to get it to you may be a problem. Email direct to discuss.
