64 cutlass rear bumper

I am looking for a rear bumper for a 64 olds cutlass. Does anyone have any suggestions or know where I might find one?

They are a bit harder to find in good shape

I would check with John ( 2blu442) he is great to deal with

If you still have yours Ogden chrome just quoted me 550 driver quality 740 show quality may go up depending on condition

64 cutlass rear bumper

Thanks for the info. I will reach out to John. This is for my fathers restore. Unfortunately he had a fairly good bumper but found one in much better shape however it turns out it was for a wagon and does not perfectly match. He discarded of the original.

The 64 wagon and f85 rear bumper is the same except that the wagon does not have the cut out for the gas filler neck . It could be cut out tho as the lic plate does cover it

Edit : on another note I am sure members here would intertain the idea to swap wagon for a non wagon bumper as they are a little harder to find in good shape

Welcome to the site, I moved your thread here to give you a bit more attention. Post an intro in the newbie section and some pictures of your dads car.

Great idea about a trading bumpers.

The rear bumper is on there currently and as you mention it does fit and could work, however there is an unnatural gap on the ends of the bumper around the tail lights area between the car and the bumper. I know there are rubber fillers that go in there but those he had with the original bumper do not fit correctly with this wagon bumper.

Thanks for moving my thread!

I will try to get some photos shortly.
