63 88 armrest wanted

Does anyone have a right front armrest pad and the metal cuplike pull center for a 63 88 convertible? 2 Door hardtop might work..Black preferred, but will take whatever is available.

For 62 the armrest assembly is the same as used on the Chevy Impala. You may want to check out Chevy suppliers for it?

63 Armrest

I thought about that, but from the pictures in the catalogs, the 63 Olds is different from the Impala. Impala sort of like a tall, narrow "C" and the Olds is a tall, naarrow "O" with a metal cup set down inside the pad and screwed to the base. That is used for the fingers to fit in to pull the door closed.

Well then, they must not have followed the pattern utilized in '62, as both the armrest base and pad are interchangeable between the 88 and Impala in 1962. I know this to be fact, as I bought an installed them on my Olds.

63 Olds armrests

I might be able to use the base and pads from the Impala as complete units. My left base and pad are good and my right base is good, but during disassembly by a previous owner the right pad and cup got lost. Was hoping to find a replacement for it, but might have to go another direction.
