68-72 Short Armrest Bases--Black Plastic

Two pair for sale. These were originally black and in great condition with no drying of the plastic or "chalkiness". Cleaned thoroughly and then sprayed with the proper adhesion promoter and SEM Landau Black.

Some cars used the stainless inserts, some didn't...these bases never had them installed but I have the inserts for a few bucks more if you need them.

$20 pair + shipping (without stainless inserts)

$30 pair + shipping (with inserts)

SEM PAINT

Hi,

I am looking to restore my center console, is that SEM paint like a satin finish? I have seen at car shows consoles paint to glossy and it does not look OEM.

Thanks,

You need to use SEM LANDAU BLACK. That's what is on the bases in the pics. I've painted dashpads, consoles, bases, etc with it and it looks great. It has the same sheen as the new plastic....not the overly-glossy look you metion.

Use the Landau Black (with an appropriate adhesion promoter)...I guarantee you'll agree with me and you'll love the finish/sheen.

Lots of the other brands of interior spray can paints in black are way too glossy. SEM also possibly makes a glossier black (not sure)...but the LANDAU BLACK is the ticket!
