Hello Oldpac62,
Are you looking for the original drivers side manifold or are you looking for the 63/64 left hand dual exhaust manifold?

The 62 dual exhaust was just a bend in the pipe and a blocker plate on the right hand manifold, your starfire should have the blocker plate on the right. The single and dual used the same manifolds in 62. The left hand manifold of any 62 full size will work, what's wrong with yours? No you shouldn't need the heat riser in Fl.

Post a picture of the numbers on the side and a full side view when you can, I'll see what I have.

I have this manifold for your 62 starfire off of my starfire. I can't get to it until later when it warms up (-38 with wind chill today).
If interested I'll make a note and dig it out for you. Private massage me with mailing address and I'll figure out shipping costs.
Thanks
Steve

Don't throw the exhaust manifold away, the studs can be removed or carefully drilled out. Sounds like "they" just want to replace parts.

I have found my bin with exhaust manifolds for 62 and 63 394's. Still interested in one I'll set it aside, I need the number to check for the correct one for you.
