394ci cylinder heads

Hi friends, I bought an Oldsmobile Holiday Super 88 coupe 394ci here in Argentina, and I want to restore it the better I can.

The engine wasn t working so I removed it and I noted that the 2 cylinder heads are broken.

The numbers are gm 1- 195 -577808 and gm 2-203-577808 and 1 of them has the number of the engine in it.

Did you have this parts? I need to buy them.

I found a rocket 324 cylinder heads from an older olds but they didn t seem similar at the exhaust, is the only thing that is not the same?

Sorry for my english.

PS: is a rebild kit for engine restoration available? piston, rings, etc

Welcome to CO

http://www.kanter.com/p20-oln.html for engine rebuild kits

You'll have to find used heads

Assuming that the heads are cracked, where the cracks are located, and where you are located ( Argentina), it might be easier and a whole lot cheaper to have the cracks professionally welded and machined at a competent machine shop. Parts are relatively easy to find for a rebuild

I would contact Falcon and ask who the manufacture is. Falcon is a parts place and cheaper seldom means better
