2.41 ring and pinion and axles for 76 rear

I'm looking for a spare R&P as well as axles for my one owner (me) 76 Cutlass S, which has the original 2.42 posi.
I'm hearing some rearend noise, but I have not torn into it yet. I would like to have a spare 2.41 R&P (JUST IN CASE) as well as some axles. They are non C-clip axles (I know, I've been into it before).

Why do you want to keep 2.41 gears? Why not upgrade to a 3.08 or 3.23? The car must be torturously slow off the line.

Actually, it's quite strong off the line. It has a built W30 spec 468 with a Richmond Street 5sp. The Richmond has a 3.27 1st gear, which works well with the 2.41, and 5th is 1:1, which is great on the Interstate.
I've got to get into the rearend in the next few days, and if I should discover that the R&P has issues, I'd like to have another gear set to replace it with.

I have the same trans in my 65 442 paired to a 2.73 Chevy 12 bolt. I had not considered that you were using a trans other than a 3 speed auto. Good luck with your project.
