I am looking for a replacement gas tank for my 72 Olds 98. Anyone have a rust-free one to sell or have any suggestions?
I know there aren't any aftermarket options available and mine is trashed with a 2" hole in it.

 

I moved your thread to the appropriate forum. I think the tanks for the 71-76 B/C body Oldsmobiles are still available from a parts store.

 

Not quite. Tanks for the '73 through '76 B/C bodies are available. "71 and '72 are not. I don't think they interchange. I believe the difference is that the '73 and later have a bulge in the top of the tank whereas the '71 and '72 did not.





If one is needed, it will likely have to come from a parts car.

Yes correct, nothing for 88 and 98 those years, I had mine stripped so I could weld and solder it, I have a 72 D88, almost done after 2 years!
