Looking for original air breather [orange / snorkle] for my '69 442 . Also , original valve covers , as when I bought the car it had chrome versions of both the breather and covers . Email or PM me . Derek

Hey Derek,
I believe the one I have would actually be correct for your car. My car is not a 442, so I believe mine should be black, (someone chime in here if you know for sure. I have a Supreme, not a 442) but the one I have is a red one. It has the OR stamp. I forget exactly which one is which, but I think it may be the one you need. (again, chime in if you know if this would be correct for Derek's 442)
If it is the one, all I would want in return is a decent one for any other '68-72 4 barrel. I would be re-painting this one anyway, so if it is correct for your car, than it would be better off on it than my multi-year contraption.
Here are a couple of pics of it...

Let me know if I can help.
Duane

edit:
I also have a few sets of valve covers that you can pick a set from if you want.

Paratrooper , Thanks for reminding me of that 2009 thread! Duane , in that thread you say that the breather is for a 350 small block. As I have a 400 big block [ and for the reasons discussed in the July 2009 thread], it can't be the right one for my car. If the valve covers for '69 442's are not model specific , maybe you could post pics and we can do business over them. At any rate , thanks for the quick reply and for shipping and taxes it would also be easier dealing with an Ontario Oldsmobiliac !
