1968 ninety eight cruise control panel?
I have a convertible coupe 1968 98 with the 455, the will be the first of many posts I’m sure but I was curious if anyone had any advice where I could best find the panel and controls as there is a spot for it on the dash but it’s missing and I don’t even know where to begin looking
Reference photo for those who might be wondering what I’m taking about

This is a picture of your car, or one you found online? If your car doesn't have the cruise switch and dial on the dash you'll have to get it from a parts car. If you're just missing the actuator, speedometer and speedo mechanism you'll still have to source them from a parts car. You might try DVAP.

Does your 68 currently have cruise control? If not, and you want to install the factory system, do you understand how the 1968 CC works? And lastly do you have a 1968 factory Chassis Service Manual, because you will need it to set up and adjust the system.
1968 was driven by a reversible electric motor, unlike later vacuum or electronic cruise controls. Fairly complex system.
If you're looking to add it to your Ninety Eight, your best bet is a 1967 or 1968 88 or Ninety Eight parts car equipped with it. You'll have to have: the CC motor and its mounting brackets, the linkage from motor to carburetor, the dash switch, brake disengagement switch and wiring harness, the upper and lower speedometer cables.
I think cfair here on the CO Forums has some experience with repairing these motor driven units on a 1966 Ninety Eight. Biggest difference in 65-66 and 67-68 is the dash switch. Operation is the same.
1966 motor driven regulator. 67-68 similar.

This is a photo from google, it looks like my car came with it stock but is missing apparently, and I’m not even sure what’s all missing or if it’s still set up and missing the controls. I’m just beginning to dig into these issues as I’ve mainly been focused on the running and driving part I’ve been neglecting the accessories and Other amenities
