I think that's actually the number for the switch... They have new ***** @ $39 also, but a new one is gonna stick out like a sore thumb, and I'm trying to avoid that.

Thanks

Oh so you want one with original patina
that's more costly, can't be reproduced.
:-)

beware the loose or missing steel insert that keeps it tight on the shaft, says my feeble memory. I will wait for others before making the foray into the dark recesses of the garage to see if I can locate my plastic bin box of such things. It'll take weeks to get out to the cars, and I am pretty sure none of them have any *****.

Rats, I gave away my resto plan, lol. The whole car has been a balance of acceptable patina and unacceptable grunge... I sometimes wonder which is winning?

As I think about it, there may not have been a **** on the car to begin with... is it held on with a set screw?

Thanks ally... I'll wait to hear from you before I make Octania dig thru his garage.

From what I gather from the Fusick catalog the 69 had a set screw. If I have one it will be for a 68. Definitely no set screw for the 68. Like Octania said there's a metal spring steel insert inside that strips out in the 68 ****. That's probably why they put a set screw in the 69's. I think the 69 **** is probably metal
