I have three of these, but unfortunately I am across the country in California and they weigh a "ton". If you cant find anything closer, let me know. John

I appreciate your response to my dilemma, hate the fact that I can't drive her on the highway due to the high rpms I have to run. Do you have a known good one and if so how much shipped to Tennessee 38375? thanks again Rich H

Rich, sorry for the delay in responding. I have been swamped at work. I have two 53 88s with drive train intact . I bought one from a man whos dad loved the car so much that when it was rear-ended and rendered undrivable he had it towed back to his house ,parked it in the driveway and would go out and start it and sit in it. The son sold me the car when his father died. I could not tell you for sure that the transmission is good as I never drove the car- I do know it has not been started since I bought it about 7 years ago.The 2nd 53 also has an intact drive train but I have no history on the car; I bought it at a lien sale. I also have a 1952 88 intact drive train. I drove this car when I bought it 25 years ago, but it has not been started or driven in the last 25 years. Is your tranny repairable ? If so, it may be cheaper to rebuild than to ship from CA. My zip code is 95973 if you want to check shipping. John
