I'm thinking about a few thing one is what it would it cost now of days to have a 55 Olds hydramatic rebuilt at a good transmission shop
the other is having a 55 Olds 324 rebuilt at a shop

also i had a 57 Olds 371 in a car now with out a trans it has the hydramatic flywheel on it

can you bolt a 55 trans up to a 57 flywheel & 55 torque converter
any seal problems or balance problems with this?

problem solved went with a rebuilt 55 Olds 324 & Hydramatic it has less then 2000 miles in it



picked it up in Iowa yesterday it's going in the 50 Olds 88 coupe
the 324 has the 2 barrel on it now but it came with a rebuilt 4 barrel and manifold
