73 72? Shoulder belts - black

I believe these are for a '73 Cutlass with buckets, maybe '72. The date is '72 which tells me '73 and the buckles look different than a '72, correct me if I'm wrong. Also Hamill is the manufacturer, while I've seen Hamill for '74 and General Safety for '72. $50 shipped.

Nick,
I might be wrong but I think those are for '72 because didn't the '73 seat belts go to the 3 point harness built in & not the ones where you have to attach the shoulder belt to the lap belt.

The "built in" 3pt harness started in '74. '73 still had a separate shoulder belt and had 1 year only interior trim to accommodate for it. These came with my '75 because someone cut the shoulder belt off and I have no idea why the previous owner would think these would address the issue. I've since found correct 3pt harness belts for the car.

I've looked online at pictures of belts from a '72 and they look to be the same as these, except that the the black bar looks a little thicker for '72; but am not entirely sure. I've looked at all the seat belts on my '74s & '75s and they all are dated a year prior, which leads me to believe these are for '73, but may work for other years prior but am not sure. I've never owned a gen 2 car.
