68-72 cutlass 442 mirror

SOLD is a 68 to 72 side view mirror in drivers condition. Stem is tight. Chrome is decent with a few pits. Glasses nice with a few minor scratches. And it includes the two mounting nuts.$20 plus shipping

The LH side mirror won't work on the RH side. As well, for Brandon, there is a slight difference between the side mirror for 68-69 and 70-72. The angle of the mirror arm is different because the door design changed between 69 and 70. I can't tell whether your mirror is for 68-69 or 70-72 but I'm sure someone else will be able to tell by the numbers you show inside the mirror arm.

Thanks Randy. The part number is 399509. When I googled it it said 68 to 72 on a lot of the ads I couldn’t find it in GM wiki. I think it’s 70 to 72 driver side and no it won’t work for the passenger side. Thanks Brandon

That looks exactly like the driver-side mirror on my '68. I've never seen an oval mirror like that on a '70-'72.

They had that style of mirror at least for the 1970 model year. That was also about the time the sport-styled outside mirrors (same color as the car) started showing up, I believe at extra cost.

Looking closer, it is different than '68 LH mirror. Is fully smooth housing, while '68 has stepped area around perimeter.

The '68 & '69 mirror base is narrower than the '70 & '1& '2. The pic is a '70 & '1 &'2.
