Is the harness for an electric rear window defroster or a rear window fan defogger?

I can't be sure Anthony? I went to their website and couldn't find anymore info. I emailed them but don't expect a reply until tomorrow.
If I was going to guess, Id say electric heated?
Maybe someone else can I.D.?

I don't know for sure, but on my fan-style, there is only a single purple lead. The ground is provided by the mechanical connection (screw) to the sheet metal. This one looks like it has a connector for two leads.

I just received email from co and they said it is for electric fan motor:

Thanks for your inquiry, the 17175 (REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER HARNESS) is for a electric fan motor.

Thanks again for your interest in American Autowire products.

Have a great day.
