This rear end was under the car when I bought it. A previous owner told me it came from a 66 Buick GS. I believe it has the larger axle bearings that came with the GS as the axle tubes flare slightly at the ends. The right axle tube leaks a little at the seam with the center housing. I didn't even notice it until I was crawling under it this morning. It's never left a spot on the floor. I don't know if the posi is any good. The gears are clean although I haven't had it open since painting it three years ago. I'll open it up once it's out of the car (this weekend) to confirm the condition of the gears. The only reason they wouldn't be the same is the car was at the painter for 9 months & who knows what he did. The reason I'm selling it is I've got a M20 & it's geared too high for that tranny. I bought a 3.42 from Brian Trick.
