Rocket Racing two piece timing cover for Olds V8. Was mounted on engine but with no run time. Timing cover is for a mechanical water pump.
In my opinion there are two issues with them out of the box: The cover is thicker than stock which causes a slight pully alignment issue between crank and water pump. I made my own spacer to move the harmonic balancer to bring back into alignment and the spacer is included.
Second issue is, as designed, could not use oil slinger with the timing cover. I had the area around the seal turned so now you can use with oil slinger. Again, engine was not run with timing cover installed so verify your own fitment.
