Neither listed in inventory but I may have the 2 door part in used form. Where does it go?

It is part of the mid body molding, it is a chrome transition corner piece from the rear wheel well trim to straight molding ...I just can't remember if it is at the front of the rear wheel or after... the 4478955 is stamped on the back and has one mounting stud ..." L" shaped chrome....sorry this is probably not much help

I will look it up when I get home next Tuesday. The stamp is almost never the part number so I will try to hunt it down.

Found the cast piece for the 2 dr Dynamic. I have the wheel well trim with both front and rear cast pieces that merge from it. Ideally it goes as a set but doesn’t have to. The stud does not look to be what I would expect to be full length but it is there. Clearly needs rechromed if going on a show car. Figure $22 shipped if you want it.

Definitely in better shape than what I have. If you are willing to just sell that piece I’ll take it for the $22 buck shipped. I can do either Venmo or PayPal if you’re good with those. I will make sure that if there any charges to use those services that I add extra so you don’t lose the amount. I don’t know if you want to private message me Your info to set up payment that way. But yes, I’ll take it.

Part received. Thanks!

You wouldn't happen to have the straight pieces from rear wheel well to the back end of the car for both sides? Same model and year? They would have to be dead straight though.

Joe, I have the driver side in damn near perfect condition. There is a slight warp at the very end but it’s where it could be pressed out. Doesn’t photo well. It’s pouring rain this week but I will look to see if I have it in any of the unknown nos pieces now that I know what it looks like. It could pass for nos. I did find in inventory nos for the right side. As good as it gets in the wrapper.

So if I understand you correctly, you have a NOS right side in the wrapper (what's left of the wrapper, i'm sure) and a Left side that is close to NOS sans a small indentation at the tail end... What would you like for both shipped?

Shoot me your zip, I didn’t save it. With the length involved I will get an estimate to ship as it won’t fit a padded envelope.

I haven't forgotten you, I was in the hospital for a week for heart issues. I am back home and just getting a few
things
organized after not being home for a week, and I will send you out a check for those two trim pieces.

I appreciate your patience.

they look a lot like these plastic ones but are metal close to the last pics(these are 58 Olds clips but are similar, without the litle "hooks" at each ends, the 58 ones are smaller though)
If you look at middle pic, you can see one of the clips where the trim is missing.

measure about 3/4" x 1" to fit in the oval hole (about 5/16" x 1/2")

hope that helps.
send me a pic of anything you have that might work

thanx

No luck on the eyebrows. Try Ron Memmer in Monticello, IN. I need part numbers to look up what I may have for 66 Starfire parts.

I received the trim. THANK YOU so much, they look great. Ok, so here is my next request... lol

Same car, 1965 Dynamic 88 2dr... both mid body door trim ..... don't ask, but this time I have pt #'s #389582 ... I believe it's the same for each side... I'd love if you have 2....

Different car...1965 Delta 88 4dr holiday hardtop .... #389548 and #389549 and #389544

...at your leisure.... no rush. I should just take a road trip down to you and "go shopping" you're not that far.

Thanks - Joe

Joe no luck on nos yet. Can you get me a measurement of the 2 door trim. Might have nice used for it. Also, can you take a photo for the 4 door trim and measurement? Same issue, I may have them but the books don’t show it clearly to see if I have 88 or 98 used trim. Diagrams look similar but I think should be different.
